What land was lost in the Treaty of Versailles
- Alsace and Lorraine restored to France
- Eupen and Maledy given to Belgium
- North Schlewig given to Denmark
- The coalminers in the Saar Valley were given to France for 15 years
- All land taken from Russia by Germany in 1918 was returned. Some of the land was used to create new nations such as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
