Oleksandr Usyk, the cruiserweight king, has finally got himself a fight, however it’s his first heavyweight bout. After his first bout against Carlos Takam got cancelled due to Usyk getting injured, he had to change it up and had to find someone else to fight for a new date. Eddie Hearn tried to get him a fight as soon as possible and now has a fight set up for the 12th October 2019 against unbeaten boxer Tyrone Spong, the former kickboxer at Wintrust Arena in Chicago as a DAZN undercard.

Now, as he prepares to challenge for the world heavyweight title, he must first overcome Tyrone Spong in Chicago. The next fight after this for Usyk will hoping to win this bout and have a chance at fighting the winner of the Joshua v Ruiz 2 fight after. If Usyk loses he may go back down to the cruiserweight division. What will happen against the unbeaten fighter Tyrone Spong.
