Claressa Shields vs Ivana Habazin!

Claressa Shields has only been boxing since 2016 and has already made a huge impact to the middleweight division, she unified the division on the 13th April, against Christina Hammer who was unbeaten in 24 fights as Shields only had 8 fights beforehand, currently she has 9 fights and 9 wins. Now she has decided to go into the welterweight division. She will be going up against Ivana Habazin for the current vacant WBO world female welterweight championship and the WBC world diamond female super welterweight title.

Ivana Habazin was born on the 22nd October 1989 in Zagreb, Croatia. She started her boxing career in 2010 and managed to beat Edit Szigeti by TKO in the first round. She continued to keep getting wins and this got her a chance against Eva Bajic for the vacant IBF world welterweight championship, however she managed to lose this fight via unanimous decisions, she then got the chance to become the unified welterweight champion in 2014 but lost the bout to Cecilia Braekhus. She currently has a 20 win to 3 losses record and came back from nearly a year out of the sport to fight Claressa Shields.
