Description
Victoria Stamps
Small part cover with a nice two-stamp combination making up the rate to England at the time. The frankings is an 1870 2d Violet and probably an 1867 1 Shilling blue. We can’t be sure of that although as we can’t check the WM to be certain, (it is identical otherwise to the 1863 version).
Both stamps are cancelled with decent strikes of the Melbourne 11D Duplex on March 28 1873.
