Surplus Stamps, FDC's and postal history
Nineteenth-Century Postal Stationery envelope from the Bank of Breese a small town in Illinois. Sent December 12th 1898 to Decatur arriving some 6 days later.
Seems like a long time for a 530 ish mile journey especially as the envelope asks for its return after 5 days!
The cover is in quite nice condition with a small tear where opened at the top.
