Makeup tutorial YouTuber NikkieTutorials said that her appearance on the show reminded her to “never meet her idols.”
She took issue with the shows staff saying she expected some sort of welcome, but was rather met by and “overworked assistant” and Ellen, who apparently snubber gets arrival and “didn’t even say hello.”
She said: “Call me naive, but I kind of expected to be welcomed with confetti cannons: ‘Welcome to The Ellen DeGeneres Show!’ But instead I was greeted by an angry intern who was a bit overworked.”H
She added: “I was expecting a Disney show, but got Teletubbies after dark.”
But despite this, she said she was happy that she went on the show and described it as “a great summery for people who didn’t know me.”
She was on the show in January, when Nikki spoke about a black-mailer pressuring her to come out as transgender.
“I feel like his entire goal was with this to destroy my life,” she said when talking about the black-mailer.
She transitioned in her teens and was met by lots of support by fans when they found out.
