A lot of uncertainty has came with last nights announcement.

What stores will remain open? Can I visit certain people? These questions on more answered below!

Can my car be MOT’d? 

Yes, for the moment garages remain open, but trucks, busses and trailers can’t get one for another few months. All practical driving tests for non essential workers have been cancelled for 3 months too.

Can children move between parents houses? 

“Where parents do not live in the same household, children under 18 can be moved between their parents’ homes.” This is quoted from the Government themselves.

Will non essential shops deliver online?

Yes, online orders are planned to deliver as normal as postal workers are working as normal.

Can my pet get medical treatment?

Vets are still hard at work during this hard time, so yes, you can take your pet to the vets as normal.

Can I post things at the post office?

Yes post offices are going to be one of the only shops that the Government plan on keeping open, but practice social distancing when you’re there.

Can I visit my partner? We don’t live together. 

Doing this goes against what the government advises, the PM said:

“If your friends ask you to meet, you should say no. You should not be meeting family members who do not live in your home.”
