With Covid-19 not being too much of an issue in the UK, the PM Boris Johnson and other members of Downing Street have discussed about easing all the rules to see if everyone can live with Covid-19 and see if anything changes. So far, cases are seeming to go up and down and with more and more variants possibly discovered in the upcoming months or years, the UK may be in trouble if all restrictions are down too soon, allowing the new variant, if there is one, entering and infecting thousands in the first few days of it landing in the UK.

Even with the rules been taken away, there is still a massive thing about Covid-19 and if there is anything else the PM can do to stop the spread, however the virus will suddenly fall to 500 cases a day and then shoot back up with lockdown, each day brings a decrease then an increase. Meaning, there will be one day everyone will be getting the virus at least once or twice before everything is sorted for good. Might be the next common cold!

Overall, the UK reported 94,326 cases of Covid-19 with an additional 242 being admitted to hospital, more than the past week so far. The NHS are currently doing okay with the virus and containing it. With some hospitals showing everything is well and truly under control. This could all change however, in a matter of weeks or months. If another variant appears, like Omicron, and takes a while to detect, then the UK may be going back into lockdown, however now it is looking like the UK will be trying to return back to normal!
