McDonalds is set to re open for those wanting to sit in.

McDonalds was one of the many stores that closed in March.

Following a successful trial, over 700 branches in the UK will open for dine-in tomorrow – which is sure to excite many people. After all, McDonalds used to serve as an area where people, particularly teens, used to socialise a lot, but coronavirus has prevented that recently.

Welsh stores are not included in the ones opening tomorrow, as they have their own rules and guidelines separate to England.

When you arrive, you’ll be asked to sanitise, and will be offered table service, and it’s also believed that August for McDonalds will offer the scheme where you get 50% off dine-in bills, up to £10 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The touch screen service devices will be in use in stores, so you can still order from there if you want. There will also be floor markers, screens, and other protective measures in place to keep both customers and staff as safe as possible. Any points where customers come in contact with surfaces will be cleaned every 30 minutes to ensure that they aren’t contaminated.

And, as you may have seen, prices of food are set to be cut by around 10% with some items, after the chancellor lowered VAT in such hospitality sectors.

However, this isn’t a general rule, as franchises set their own prices for products, so your local mcdonalds may be priced differently to one in a different part of the country.
