Covid-19, also known as coronavirus, started in Wuhan, China. Started from someone eating a bat and getting the virus from that. The virus spread rapidly in China and managed to get around to the entre world. With Europe struggling with the virus and struggling to contain the virus. Spain have been gaining more and more infected each day and even the UK have seen a small increase in Covid paients. But there is always hope at the end of the tunnel, there could be a vaccine created within the next few months.
University of Oxford have created a huge breakthrough, they have designed a vaccine that could be the vaccine to save the world. The vaccine is called ChAdOx1 nCoV-19. With this being one of the virus vaccines created that look like it’ll work, the UK have ordered 100 million of them if the vaccine is successful. But so far its looking good with the vaccine being safe and only having 2 side effects. These are a small fever and a headache. Great progess that has happened but this vaccine has got Covid-19 inside the vaccine with extra stuff in it.
This could be the best vaccine to happen to the world. The world needs this to be a success so this is going to be a breakthrough!
