The man of the hour Dominic Cummings is said to be thinking about retiring from his position as the PMs advisor.

The advisor has received a lot of media attention recently.

But, surprisingly, it seems to have nothing to do to his lockdown breaches. He’s been receiving criticism due to his breach and the controversy surrounding it, and has been told to resign by many fellow conservative MPs and the opposition.

Boris claims Cummings did nothing wrong, something which he has also received criticism for despite police saying he had actually broken the rules. (But they won’t be taking any further action).

A source said: “He will stay in his job if it seems worthwhile and he can improve things. Otherwise he probably won’t.”

Cummings was late to his own “interview” on Monday, where he was answering public questions in relation to the violation.

He claims he did what he thought was right considering the circumstances he was in. But denies doing something wrong.

At the Downing Street interview he defended his actions over and over again, saying: “I don’t think there’s one rule for other people, as I said I knew what the guidance was, it talks about exceptional circumstances with small children, and I believe I behaved reasonably and legally.”

Others, obviously don’t agree, with people saying he could have easily found care closer to him, and that he didn’t need to drive to a scenic tourist spot 60 miles away to “check his eyesight”. The excuse has been called “ridiculous” and “shocking”.
