Carrie Symonds and Boris Johnson have announced the birth of a “healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning”.
This comes only a week or so after the Prime Minister was in the ICU with the Coronavirus.
His spokesperson said the whole family are doing well, including the baby, who is “healthy”.
“The Prime Minister and Ms Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning. Both mother and baby are doing very well,” the spokesman said.
“The PM and Ms Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team.”
They made history as the first unmarried couple to move into 10 Downing Street together, and they announced their engagement in February, when they also announced they were due a child in “early summer.”
