Scottish League One 2023-24 Predictions

Scottish League One (tier 3) surprisingly still features Falkirk in 2023-24 who are now facing 5 seasons at this level. Why surprising, well the Bairns may not be a powerhouse but they were playing in Europe as recently as 2009-10 and were Scottish Cup Finalists in 2015. They finished a clear second last year and also reached the Scottish Cup Semi-Finals. They look justifiable favourites for the title although will have competition from Hamilton who have not played at this level for many years.

We expect these two to battle it out for the title and ultimately not to be promoted.

Playoff Places

Alloa looks the best of the rest and League Two Champions Stirling Albion might also be in with a chance. They were might impressive last year but this is a bit of a step up.

Relegation candidates

Annan Athletic have reached this level for the first time ever, however, it could be a short stay. Cove Rangers found life in the championship a bit tough and might just struggle again this but should survive the playoff final.
