Over the past few years, Barcelona has been the team to beat, they were unstoppable while Messi was at the club, seemingly hard to beat and hard to break down, however, once the best player left the club… The club fell and continued to fall. Right now, Xavi is trying to reconnect the team and make team back to normal, however, it is not looking good for the manager considering he could be out of the Champions League!
Barcelona went up against Inter Milan in the Champions League yesterday. There was a high chance that Barcelona could have won this game as they needed to win to stand a chance in their group stages.
Inter Milan ended up drawing with the team, making this nearly impossible for them to make it past the group stages.
Barcelona will be praying that Inter Milan loses to bottom-of-the-table Viktoria Plzen.
This may be the end of Barcelona’s chances at being in the Champions League next season. They need to hope for the best for this small team.
