November Sneaker Recap

2nd of November

On the 2nd of November, Vans released the NASA Space Voyager pack, retailing for around £90. The shoes have no resale value and in my opinion they are pretty ugly!

Still on the 2nd of November, the shoe people were really waiting for; the Adidas x Kith Consortium 4D. Like all sneakers with 4D technology, it was a very hyped shoe, which came with a bit of a resale premium for those who bought it to sell. Its not selling for anywhere near as much as the other pairs, but the shoe isn’t as clean and basic as the other pairs of 4D shoes that have been released in the past.

The Jordan 1 “Not for resale” dropped today, and people went crazy for it. This Jordan 1 comes with a white leather upper plus black accents, black Nike “Swoosh”, white midsole, and red sole. These sneakers retailed for $160, and it might say “Not For Resale” on the midsole but you can cop these on StockX now for retail + the price premium! Depending on the colour, there’s a £200+ price premium. The yellow variant of this shoe retailed at the same price but was released on the 14th.

Another Comme de Garcon x Supreme x Nike sneaker has dropped, and its a very clean and simple shoe, much tamer than their previous shoe colabs. These sneakers dropped on the supreme site and retailed for $165, and have a 100-200% price premium.

I don’t know if Kanye loves Sesame seeds but we do know that he’s released the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sesame. This major silhouette comes with a sesame upper, sesame midsole, and a gum sole. These sneakers released in November 2018 and retailed for £180. The Yeezy hype has sort of died down, so these are reselling at £10-£20 over retail. (These are probably the nicest to ever be released).

Don’t be salty, get out of your feelings, and cop a pair of the Adidas Yeezy 500 Salt. With the potential of being the best Yeezy 500 colorway, these come with a salt upper, a salt midsole, and a salt sole. As this was a pretty wide release, the price premium is only around 30% over retail. These retailed for £180.
