In 1979, a film was created about a team of space explorers that find themselves fighting off an alien like creature, this film was called “Alien”! A US School decided to create a play based upon the 1979 movie! The School was known as North Bergen High School in Jersey. English Teacher Perfecto Cuervo adapted the play for the drama club and now have made headlines across the world! Cuervo also filmed a little tease trailer for the play which was release ahead of the opening night!
The film Alien was a massive hit and created a film franchise that is still going to this day! 40 years later!
It may come as a surprise to some people, but the students designed everything themselves, from the space consumes to the alien! They did a great job! Paul Scheer, an American actor, was so impressed with how the play came out, he tweeted about how good it was and said he can’t stop watching it! There is one scene in Alien that some people find hard to recreate, the scene is when everyone is sitting at the table and an Alien popped out of someone’s chest. This was achieved by someone sitting underneath the table and they had a hand puppet!

The play got some good reviews and a lot of famous actors and TV producers were impressed with how they managed to create Aliens once again! Even the Alien producers tweeted about this great play! The show was played on the 19th and 22nd March! Watch the small tease trailer below!
