Toy story 4 – Release 21 June 2019

Toy Story 4 will be screened in the UK from the 21st June 2019.

The trailer shows the return of Bo Beep, who is Voiced by Annie Potts, who also voiced Bo peep in the 1995 Toy Story film as well as sequel Toy Story 2 in 1999.

20 years later Bo peep is returning to the big screen and with a whole new look seen here.

The main antagonist, in this next instalment, is Gabby Gabby (voiced by Christina Hendricks) and her evil henchmen the Bensons who are ventriloquist dummies. The Bensons have no voice, which could be interesting and may create a suspenseful villain.

The main plot, however, appears to centre around the introduction of the character Forky. As seen within the trailer, Forky has been created by Bonnie and then comes to life as a toy. Struggling to come to grasp with the purpose of existence Woody and the gang take Forky under their wing, however, Forky goes missing and then the other toys are in a race against time to find him in order to keep their owner Bonnie form despair at losing what appears to be her new favourite Toy.  They receive help from some new characters such as Duke Caboom (Voiced by Keanu Reeves).

Growing up with Toy Story has meant that not only did I have a wonderful experience watching these films as a child,  but now I can have the joy of taking my children to watch the release of this instalment.
