Minaj and her current boyfriend have also hinted about marriage. Speaking on her podcast Queen Radio, Minaj said she and Petty had to refile for a marriage license after their first one expired, convincing fans they had got married.

In the 2000s Minaj joined record label Young Money Entertainment and her debut album Pink Friday was released in 2010. Her songs such as Super Bass, Anaconda and Starships named her one of the worlds biggest female rappers. Throughout the years she has been nominated for 10 Grammys, won five MTV Video Music Awards and broken a record for the most Billboard Hot 100 entries by a solo female artist.
