Netflix have been released teasers of an upcoming drama series, Criminal, which is coming this Autumn. The series is in four languages: English, France, Germany and Spain – they all have their own cast.
Criminal is around 12 police procedural stories which are set in the UK, Spain, France and Germany. Criminal is set in a police interview room and is described by Netflix as a “stripped-down, cat-and-mouse drama” that “focuses on the intense mental conflict between detectives and suspects.”
In the cast announcement you can see mugshots being taken followed by scenes of interrogation.
The producers of the series also produced Killing Eve and Endeavour. There will be 12 episodes which will be aired on September 20th.
You could think of the series to be similar to Line of Duty.
