There are a lot of things that happen in the world, from being the youngest baby to ever be born… Which in all honest we have all had a world record, of being the youngest baby to be born at the time you were born! This record however is for the oldest person ever recorded, bet you didn’t know this!
The women that has the record go by the name of Jeanne Calment! Jeanne Calment was born on the 21st February 1875 in France, living a long life and dying on the 4th August 1997… a year before I was born! How crazy is that? This women survived through 2 world wars and the Spanish Flu… she ended up dying at the exact age of 122 years and 164 days old.
Currently the oldest person alive however is third in the list of the oldest people in the world. Coming in from Japan, this person goes by the name of Jane Tanaka. He was born on the 2nd January 1903 and is currently alive at the age of 119 years and 87 days. Still alive and kicking, hoping to break the world record! Surviving the Spanish Flu and both world wars like the first one and even the Covid-19 pandemic!
