Today is Father-Daughter Take a walk to together day, a day to celebrate the father-daughter bond by taking a walk in the (hopefully) beautiful weather.

On this day in 2005, in the most violent attack on London, England, since WWII, terrorists exploded four bombs in quick succession on three subway cars and one bus, killing more than 50 people and injuring over 700.

Today is also the Birthday of Fashion Designer Pierre Cardin who was born in 1922
