What Should Joshua Do Next?

Anthony Joshua knows what he wants to do with his future and knows what fight he wants next, he wants to fight Andy Ruiz Jr again and to see if he can win back his IBO, IBF, WBO and WBA world heavyweight championships as soon as possible, however this may be the wrong move for Joshua. Like he said in the video he released, he had no hate towards Ruiz, will the next fight between these two be different? In some ways yes and in others no. We all know Joshua will be training hard to overcome this loss, but he will have to try his best to lose that one hit chin he had in the fight.

In many aspects, Joshua is doing the right thing going back to fight Andy Ruiz Jr. He will now get his chance to regain what he lost and regain his chance at being at the top of the ladder and will hopefully get his shot after Andy Ruiz Jr to fight Deontay Wilder, since Wilder may think Joshua is weak after the Ruiz fight and might accept his terms since he may believe he will win the fight. This is also good for Joshua to show everyone that he lost due to Ruiz being very lucky. Joshua said he had no hate for the guy so he didn’t have the same hype as he would have normally done, this time should be different since Ruiz has already started trash talking Joshua.

One aspect of this fight happening is bad for Joshua however, if Ruiz Jr does end up beating the Englishmen again, Joshua won’t get a chance to win the titles again for some time, like Dillian Whyte, he will have to go back up the heavyweight listing and win a lot of fights before getting another chance to win the titles, unless Wilder wants to fight him after the Ruiz fight, if he does lose that is. Joshua will be wanting to win his titles back so he will be training harder and harder each day to make sure that he wins his titles back and makes sure that Ruiz stays down this time round.
