Alexander Povetkin has been a world champion before, he was the WBO world heavyweight champion before losing his championship to one of the best fighters in their prime, Wladimir Klitschko. He beat Povetkin on points in 2013, however he had another chance of beating the former world champion Joshua but lost in the 7th round due to TKO. He hasn’t been involved in a fight since the 22nd September 2018 and now has his chance to prove he’s still got what it takes to become a world champion again, however will he lose to Hughie Fury?
If Hughie Fury loses this bout, he will most likely never be able to have a chance to fight anyone with a championship for a while, until he shows that he is worthy of becoming one. He had a chance at becoming mandatory for one of Joshua’s titles, however he lost that bout to Kubrat Pulev. He now has a chance to beat a former champion and somewhat make a name for himself.
