WBC Champion will Fight Luis Ortiz!

After a lot of rumours and confirmations and deals about this fight… the fight is finally happening, and a date has been confirmed for when the WBC world heavyweight champion will fight Luis Ortiz once again! Wilder has been teasing this fight for some time, saying he was going to fight Ortiz then Fury, then Joshua or Ruiz… depending on who has the 4 major titles in the division by the time he finishes all his fights. So far, his plans are going well and are going according to what he wants to do in the heavyweight division.

Deontay Wilder has previously fought the Cuban in 2018, managing to win via TKO in the 10th round, Ortiz almost knocked Wilder down early on in the rounds, however, didn’t pick up the pace and managed to lose via KO. the first time Ortiz has ever lost… against Deontay Wilder. Ortiz will be hoping to get his revenge against Wilder and beat him in the second bout in November. Hoping to beat the best in the heavyweight division and take the WBC world heavyweight championship off him as soon as possible.

If Wilder wins this fight, he will be going up against Tyson Fury in an amazing rematch to determine who won the bout in December and who is the right winner of the WBC world heavyweight championship. The lineal Champion believes that he won the fight on points due to the amount of punches he scored every round, believing he only lost 2 rounds. Wilder believes Fury was on the floor for more than 10 seconds and the fight should have been called off due to Fury being knocked out, however the rematch is still due. Fury says it’ll happen in February.
