Shawn Potter vs Errol Spence Jr!

Most highly anticipated welterweight fight of the year happened on Saturday, 28th September 2019. Shawn Potter, the WBC world welterweight champion of the world, went up against Errol Spence Jr, the IBF world welterweight champion of the world, in a 12 round boxing fight that saw a winner after 12 rounds of straight boxing. This fight didn’t disappoint at all, the fans got their money’s worth in this contest due to both fighters putting their bodies on the line and went all out to knock one another out, none of them went for the points victory, both tried to knock each other out straight away!

Round’s 1 to 4, it was one after the other, even up until the 9th round, it seemed like both fighters were going to win the out, almost drawing the bout since both fighters went for it, none stop punching and swinging shots, however in the 11ths round, Shawn Potter went down onto his knees and got the standing count due to this. After 12 rounds of boxing, Errol Spence Jr won the bout via split points decision and now owns the WBC world welterweight championship as well as the IBF world welterweight championship. Now the unified champion of both titles and wants more.

The fight was incredible, could be the fight of the year contender, however Errol Spence Jr is not done there, he will be wanting to win more titles and try his best to win every welterweight championship in that division. That means he will have to go up against the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Terrence Crawford, the two best welterweight fighters in the division currently… what fight will Errol Spence Jr go for?
