UFC Fight Night Magomedsharipov Vs Kattar
The Octagon moves to Moscow this weekend, and features a host of Russians on the card, to gave the home town fans much to cheer about. The main event of the night is Zabit Magomedsharipov against Calvin Kattar at featherweight. This was originally scheduled to be the match up between Junior dos Santos and Alexander Volkov, but the Brazilian was forced to withdraw due to injury. Unusually this will result in the main event being only 3 rounds rather than the usual 5, but this is due to the short notice of the change to the card.
So, the co-main event is now Alexander Volkov against Greg Hardy, who will feel he has something to prove following “inhaler-gate” in his last fight. It will be interesting to see how he bounces back and how readily Volkov is able to change to face a new opponent.
