Olesandr Usyk to the Heavyweight Division!

Olesandr Usyk to the Heavyweight Division!

There’s no doubt that Olesandr Usyk is the best boxer in the Cruiserweight Division right now, or the best Cruiserweight Boxer ever, he has managed to get every title as little as 13 fights, retained the title against big names, most recent Tony Bellew, and has also been named by Sky Sports and ESPN as one of the best Cruiserweight’s in the Division! Just from his recent fight, we are still learning what a great fighter he really is, however, is he able to hang on to this in the Heavyweight Division? Not confirmed yet, but Usyk could be leaving all his titles behind to win all the titles in the Heavyweight Division. He has said he wants to go against Joshua for the IBF, WBA and WBO World Heavyweight Championship in April. Joshua doesn’t want to fight Usyk, since, he has said he wants to fight ether the winner of Fury v Wilder or the winner of Whyte v Chisora, so, it’s very unlikely Usyk will get his chance to fight Joshua in April, but if the negotiations break down with Wilder or Whyte, Usyk may get his chance! Usyk could light up the Heavyweight Division! Usyk could be one of the best Boxers in the world if he keeps his run of form, like Floyd Mayweather Jr or Mike Tyson. He hasn’t reached his peak yet, but when he does, he’ll be able to beat the likes of Joshua and Wilder by KO!

In my opinion, I think Usyk should go up into the Heavyweight Division, since he has shown everyone he is very capable of fighting on a global stage, but he should start off with two or three small fights and work his way up because if he goes straight for Wilder or Joshua, he might get knocked out due to him coming up from the Cruiserweight Division and not use to the Heavyweight Division. I do believe Usyk will win all the titles in the future and become one of the best, with an unbeaten record, but he should wait to fight the best in the Division. He does have the potential, but he needs to slowly work his way up the ranking first, instead of going for the titles straight away. The Heavyweight Division is one of the toughest and roughest divisions in Boxing history right now! The likes of Joshua, Fury, Wilder, Whyte and more fighters at their peak, it’ll be hard for him to do well!

Will Usyk get his chance? Or will he start off with a few small fights?
