Manuel Charr Suspended for 6 Months!

Manuel Charr has been suspended from boxing due to him failing his drugs test! The 34-year-old boxer had a boxing match against Fres Oquendo on September 29 of this year, this fight never happened due to him being banned from the sport! Manuel Charr has a decent record of 31 wins and only 4 loses, so why did he go into drugs? According to the rules in WBO “No boxer who has tested positive for prohibited substances can be rated, retain a title, or be permitted to fight in a sanctioned bout for a period of no less than six months from the date of the positive test. Only the official testing authorized or directed by the Association or local commission shall be considered. No independent or after-the-fact testing will be considered.” So why do boxers do this, if they know they will get banned from the sport? Many people will say, so the boxer gets bigger and better than his opponent, however at the end of the day, there will be a time someone will find out what happened. The boxer will be able to box again once his suspension is done but until then, he will have to wait! Manuel Drostanolone, two anabolic steroids and some others were found in his system before his fight in September.

After his 6-month ban, do you think he’ll continue taking drugs?
