Over the coming weeks, the former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has been trying to get his fight with Usyk started so he can try and regain what he lost to him. Due to some circumstances in Ukraine, Usyk no longer can fight as he has returned to fight in the war. Meaning Joshua no longer has an opponent.
Anthony Joshua lost his world titles to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 via a unanimous decision and has been deciding if he should open up his rematch clause or not, however with the ongoing war, Usyk will no longer be able to fight.

Before Joshua lost his titles, there was an ongoing fight between him, Wilder and Fury over the next undisputed world championship, however Joshua couldn’t get the fight with Fury to happen due to Wilder wanting a rematch with the Englishman, however now, Wilder doesn’t have a fight, or a title and Joshua is the same… Therefore there could be a massive fight between these two to determine who is the best fighter out of the two.
Other rumours suggest Joshua may go another route, maybe fighting an upcoming star in the boxing world who beat Daniel Dubois. His name is Joe Joyce, also known as Juggernaut.
Joyce’s last fight was against former world title challenger Carlos Takam, who he managed to beat via TKO in the 6th round.

Looking at both fighters fighting Carlos Takam, Joe Joyce will seemingly look as if he is the better fighter, as he managed to knockout Carlos Takam in 6 rounds as Joshua finished him in 10 rounds, however it may not happen the way some people may think.
Anthony Joshua will be wanting to fight very soon since he may not be able to fight Usyk for the world titles. Who will he fight?
