“Professional Loser” Lewis Van Poetsch!

“Professional Loser” Lewis Van Poetsch!

Boxing is a hard sport to master, with a couple of people being able to make it to the big league. Others may win a few but then fall due to a lack of opportunities.

Some fighters get through the ranking from the amateur league, for example, Lomachenko. Others fail under the pressure of being a massive fighter.

One fighter however is making a name for himself, becoming, as he wants to call himself, a professional loser. Managing to win only 9 fights in his entire career as a pro boxer. Almost as good as the current worst fighter in the world, Reggie Strickland.

As this fighter put it;

“Maybe I could have been British champion, but I love being a professional loser.” said the journeyman.

This fighter currently has 9 wins in 151 fights and he believes that he is known as the champion of losing. Which is not what any fighter wants… Other than this one fighter.

His most recent fight was against a fighter by the name of Jack Owen. He managed to get the contest to a draw instead of a loss, he must have been mad he didn’t lose. Surprisingly enough, this fighter has only lost 11 fights via the way of KO and or TKO.

He has only won two fights via the way of knock out and at the start of his career, he lost the first fight, then won against Jordan Lynch but lost again for another 4 fights before beating Carwyn Herbert. To see more boxing funny stats, Click here!
