The man that is believed to beat Canelo, the best super middleweight fighter in his division, Callum Smith has everything going for him. He is currently the WBA super world super middleweight champion and has a great record of 26-0, with 19 coming by way of KO, he really is a great fighter and could be the man to beat in the future if he goes for all the rest of the super middleweight titles. Smith could be the man that could beat Floyd Mayweather 50-0 streak and could be the man that never loses a bout in his career.
Callum Smith was born in Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom on the 23rd April 1990. He started his boxing career in 2012 when he fought Dan Blackwell, managing to steal a points victory over him and even did the same on the 8th December against James Tucker, points victory. He continued to be a great fighter, and, on the 28th September 2018, he went up against George Groves for the WBA super world super middleweight championship, which he managed to win via KO in the 7th round. Now, he currently holds the title and doesn’t have a fighter to fight, he is wanting to fight Canelo, but no deal has gone through.
The last fight he was in, was against Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam for the WBA super title and the WBC diamond super middleweight title, which Callum managed to win in a matter of 3 rounds, winning via TKO since N’Dam went down in the first second and third round before the referee called it quits and the match was set and done.
