Oleksandr Usyk, the undefeated cruiserweight champion of the world, has been voted as the best fighter of 2018 by BWAA. After an incredible performance last year, Usyk has managed to become ESPNs and BWAA fighter of the year! Usyk has done wonders! He’s the second Ukrainian fighter to become fighter of the year, the 2017 fighter of the year was won by a man called Vasiliy Lomachenko. Vasiliy is one of Usyk’s closest friends and also was on his team during the Olympics in 2012! Gold medallist and undisputed champion! 16-0-0, the undefeated fighter maybe going up to the Heavyweight division to face the likes of Wilder and Fury to try and become the undisputed champion of that division as well! If he manages to go into the heavyweight division and win the fight that gives him all the titles, then he may become the 2019 boxer of the year! We are only a month into this year and already have some stuff to look forward for! Will Oleksandr Usyk become one of the best boxers to ever live?
