Wladimir Klitschko was one of boxings biggest stars! He was at the top of his game from 2004 till 2015. He has had an insane career! Klitschko retired on the 29th April 2017, after he lost in the 11th round against Joshua! Its nearly been 2 years since he retired boxing and there have been so many rumours of him coming back to fight certain fighters! Wladimir Klitschko was one of the top fighters in the world, however he wouldn’t go down and fight opponents that he knows he’ll beat regardless of his age! It’s said there are only two fighters Klitschko wants to fight or if he were to return. The fighters Klitschko would fight again are… Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua! These two are currently at the top, being the best in the heavyweight division!
Klitschko has went up against both of these fighters already, but he didn’t get what he wanted! He went up against Tyson Fury on the 28th November 2015 and managed to lose by Unanimous decision, meaning Fury won all the titles off him. He went up against Joshua on the 29th April 2017 and lost in the 11th round via TKO. In my opinion, if he was going to make a return to the ring, i think he should fight Fury! Fury could be the next WBC heavyweight champion… if Fury ends up fighting Wilder again! This could be a great contest, but only time will tell if he decides to come back and fight the best in the world!
