On the 20th April 2019, we will be seeing two of the best fighters in the Welterweight division go head to head. The WBO World Welterweight championship will be on the line as well! Terence Crawford will be going up against Amir Khan! This is the fight that Khan has been waiting for. He finally has a shot at the WBO world welterweight championship and could come out as the winner. Terence Crawford, however, is slightly different to Amir Khan, he hasn’t lost a fight yet. One of the best Welterweights in the division and could go on to win all the titles in this division! At Madison Square Garden, who will come out with the WBO World Welterweight Champion?
Terence Crawford has been boxing since 2008, however he didn’t start in the Welterweight division, he started out as a Super lightweight and went into the Welterweight division after he beat Julius Indongo for the IBF, WBO, WBA and WBC super-light championships in 2017! After this bout, he went on to fight Jeff Horn for the WBO world welterweight title and won via TKO. Now his challenger is one of the quickest boxers in the world! Amir Khan! He is currently 34-0 with 25 via KO!

Amir Khan started boxing in 2005 and looked to be one of the best boxers in the world from the start! He went up against David Bailey and won via TKO! He went on and won more bouts and winning some lightweight titles in the process however he moved up to the welterweight division in 2014 to fight Chris Algieri for the WBC silver Welterweight Title! He luck went however when he fought Saul Alvarez when he got knocked out! He now has a new challenger that could potentially knock him out like Canelo did! Amir Khan has won 33 bouts with 20 via KO and lost 4 with 3 via KO!
