GGG Closing in on a Fight?

GGG Closing in on a Fight?

The Former Unified Middleweight Champion GGG could be on his way back to the ring! He is close on signing a deal where he could be fighting someone at Madisons Square Garden on the 8th June 2019! This deal is almost finished and could be finalised very soon. Even though the deal is almost done and dusted… they haven’t found an opponent, however there are two fighters that they are trying to get a done deal with. Since GGG is one of the best fighters in the division, he will be wanting to go up against someone that is at his level and could put on a great show. Golovkin is hoping this bout will be successful and he wants to be at 164 pounds for this fight… 4 pounds over the middleweight division limit!

The fight is a non-title bout meaning GGG wont have anything to lose or gain from this fight. He is only wanting to have six more fights in his career, so he would hope to end his career on a high note. One of the potential fighters is Steve Rolls! Steve Rolls is currently undefeated in 19 fights and could be the next big middleweight champion, coming in at 19-0.he will hope that he wont lose his win streak to GGG! He has knocked out 10 out of 19 opponents so far and his 20th fight could be one where he decides if he could become a champion or not! The next opponent GGG could be facing is the former World champion Hassan N’Dam. He use to have the WBA Middleweight Championship before losing it to Ryota Murata in 2017! Ryota has been involved in 40 bouts, winning 37 of them and only losing 3! This could be the fight GGG wants!

If the fans got to choose who fights GGG next, they would most likely say Canelo, since this fight was one of the best fights that happened and GGG would want to have another chance at fighting him, since they drew once and GGG lost the other one. This could be one of the best fights in 2019 if it were to happen. Everyone would tune in to watch another 12 rounds of GGG v Canelo! DAZN will need to see if they can get this fight to happen, in one of his last 6 fights! This will be unlikely since Canelo has went up to the Super Middleweight division, however he may come down to the middleweight division to fight Golovkin again!
