Conor McGregor Retires!

Former two-time UFC Champion Conor McGregor has announced that he will be retiring from MMA! Conor has decided to hand in the gloves. This was first announced on Social Media where he said, “I wish all my old colleagues well going forward”. A successful career and amazing fights have led this man into the MMA hall of fame in everyone’s books! McGregor has retired from MMA before, back in 2016, he said, “I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese,” and wasn’t included in UFC 200! So, no matter what there will be speculations around Conor McGregor coming back into the MMA or in fact going back into Boxing, since he has only been in one fight! Conor will be known as one of the best fighters in MMA.

Conor McGregor’s last fight was against Khabib. October 2018, the Russian lightweight Khabib won very easily, shocked many fans across the world. The way Khabib won this fight was via submission in the fourth round, however this was his first time in the octagon in two years and the defeat lead to both fighters getting fined and suspended from UFC. Also, in 2017, he went up against one of the best fighters in the world, Floyd “money” Mayweather! His only time being in the ring… probably his last time since he lost the fight! It was said that McGregor got $75 million just from the Mayweather fight alone! Unfortunately, he did lose but did he really with the amount he got?
