
Some minor amendments have been made to the Coronavirus policies set out by the government.
The official documents suggest that officers can’t judge if someone’s outdoor activity is essential or not, but they can still send people home if you’re idling on a park bench for example.
Shopping
You can head down non essential aisles for things such as wine other alcohol.
Collect basic surplus items of food from a friend.
Buy a small amount of basic items such as newspapers and milk.
Buy tools to fix things such as a damaged fence in your back garden.
Exercise
Drive to the countryside, in situations where more time is spent walking than driving.
Stopping to eat lunch or have a short rest on a walk.
In some cases exercising more than once a day.
You still can’t meet friends for a run or go to their home for example.
Others
Going to live at a friends house if there has been an altercation in your own home. It gives you time to “cool off.”
Non essential workers may return to work where it’s not possible to work from home.
Delivering food packages to the vulnerable.
Go to a vet for essential treatment.
You can’t go to the vet to do anything you can do over the phone though, as with anything. If you can do it from home, do it from there.
