CCTV footage of a primary school in North Carolina shows a microburst “bursting” through the wall pf a gymnasium. No pun intended. Microbursts are patterns of intense winds that descend from rain clouds, hit the ground, and fan out horizontally. Students must have been warned about the strong winds previously, as they acted quickly and responsibly and got out of the way as soon as they could.

A seen in the video, one wall of the gym was torn down in the 80mph burst. Three students were reportedly taken to hospital with minor injuries, but thankfully no one was seriously hurt.
