Russia has been sanctioned by the US, UK, and many other countries with some countries even targetting the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin’s daughter due to the fact he started a war and a lot of world leaders believe that this is considered a war crime.
With that in mind, Russia has started to stop gas supplies to many places and has stopped some in certain places and sanctioned some in others. There have been some reports that suggest that Russia has completely cut off the gas supply to some places.

It’s believed that Russia has completely cut off the gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria as the war continues between Russia and Ukraine, this could cause more countries to get involved as Russia is starting to completely cut off certain stuff for the rest of the world.
Both Ukraine and the UN believe that Russia is using energy to try and blackmail the rest of the world into supporting Ukraine in this war. To avoid more sanctions.
The European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen said this in her statement about the cutting of the gas.
“We will also continue working with international partners to secure alternative flows – and I will continue working with European and world leaders to ensure the security of energy supply in Europe, Europeans can count on our full support.”
