Since the death of innocent man George Floyd, the whole of the US is rioting about the Police force. The Police Force is considered racist after a lot of incidents that ended with killing a lot of people. The riots have caused a lot of businesses to lose a lot of products due to everyone stealing after the killing. Dozens of people are getting injured around the world and the protest is still going on. A lot of events have been canceled due to this protest and a lot of people are recording them rioting. For example Tony Jefferies, a former boxer.
US President Donald Trump has said that he will call the military to stop them all from rioting and protesting. Here are some of the things people have done during this protest!
- In New York, The iconic department store Macy’s was broken into and looted.
- In Chicago, two people were reported killed amid unrest.
- The chief of police has been fired after law enforcement officers fired into a crowd on Sunday Night.
All of this has been caused after a Police Officer killed a man by the name of George Floyd. A Racist policeman killed an innocent man and Trump is wanting to get the military in to stop the protest and to stop the violence that is happening. The US has had so many issues recently, Covid-19 is still about and infecting over 10,000 people a day and now this protest that is killing and injuring a lot of people.
