A government official has suggested that when pubs FINALLY reopen, people could be limited to a mere two or three drinks.
Eyal Winter, who is currently a government advisor, has said that puns and other facilities will have to impose very strict social distancing measures when they finally reopen.
“People are starving for pubs,” the economist told a paper outlet. “They are an important part of British culture.”
He suggested, that one method of limiting numbers could be achieved by not allowing pub goers to have more than 3 pints each, before being politely asked to go home, but how achievable this is is up for debate. Drinkers could easily lie to get more than the allowed amount, or the landlords could simply not follow guidances.
In terms of life in general, Mr winter has a optimistic long term outlook on everything.
“It will take a lot of time to move back to January 2020, he said. “But we will get there.”
