Earlier today, the BBC confirmed that Paddy McGuinness and Freddy Flintoff will be the new hosts of the hit TV show Top Gear.

The popular show has had its run of backlash and low ratings after Jeremy Clarkson and the gang left the show, and McGuinness and Flintoff are set to be the new hosts.

when asked about getting the role McGuinness said: “Getting the Top Gear gig is a real honour and I’m thrilled the BBC have given me this opportunity. “To be hosting a show I’ve watched and loved from being a small boy is beyond exciting.” Flintoff went on to say: “It’s not often you have the chance to do both of your dream jobs, but I’m now lucky enough to say I will have. I’ve always been passionate about cars and I’m so excited to be joining the Top Gear team.”

Matt LeBlanc is to leave the show, and filming for the 27th series of the show will start in early 2019.
