A motorist who went out on a drive because they were “bored,” crashed into a metal fence Police have said.
Police seemed less than happy about the drivers reasons for being out.
Police have said the driver of a black Ford Fiesta was making an unessential trip because they were “bored.”
The incident takes place as the emergency services are under more pressure and busier than ever.
Essex Roads Policing Unit South wrote on Twitter: “Driver of this car was bored so went out for a drive!
“Us and the ambulance crew are both really busy and don’t need extra work.
“Another person breaching the regulations.”
The main purpose of the lockdown is to reduce the strain on emergency services during the pandemic; to flatten the curve.
“Please don’t ( break lockdown) please stay home,” Essex Roads Policing Unit South added.
“Driver has been reported.”
