The other day we enviously reported on the great discounts Australians were getting from McDonalds, in the hopes they were coming to the UK.
McDonalds was one of the many stores that closed in March, but it will remain open for drive thru and collection this time.
Our prayers have been answered, as for two weeks, you can a big 30% discount on McDonalds products through the companies app.
The sale is running from 11am on Monday 2 November until Sunday 15 November, and all you need do is open the deals section of the app, and choose your items and go get them at the nearest participating restaurant!
Despite it not applying to the saver menu, you could claim £3.39 Big Macs, Chicken Legends costing just £3.89, and Quarter Pounders with cheese costing a mere in at £3.39.
Also, you must be over 16 to participate in the offer, and it can’t be used alongside any other offers.
Even though we are going into a sort of lockdown, drive-thrus & takesways are staying open, and Paul Pomroy, the CEO McDonald’s UK & Ireland, said: “At 00.01am on Thursday we will close our dining areas across England but, in line with Government guidance, we will remain open for takeaway, Drive Thru and McDelivery via Uber Eats and Just Eat.“Following the first lockdown, together with our franchisees, we made significant changes to our restaurant operations and kitchens to enhance our health and safety procedures to help keep you our customers and our employees safe.”
There will again be floor markings and regular sanitisation of the store, to keep those collecting on foot safe, so you shouldn’t worry about collecting. You will have to wear face masks when in store however, in line with government rules.
