According a former colleague, Derek Chauvin, the man who’s accused of killing George, and George Floyd, had a little altercation when they worked together.

A recent mugshot of Chauvin.

It’s believed they worked as bouncers at a club together a while ago, and that’s where the altercation happened.

44 year old Chauvin has recently been charged with murder of the death of Floyd, where video footage started to circulate of Chauvin kneeling onto George’s neck, until he stopped responding, and was later pronounced dead by medics.

The former co-worker said they knew eachother “pretty well”. David Pinney, who worked with the pair at the same time, said: “They bumped heads.”

“It has a lot to do with Derek being extremely aggressive within the club with some of the patrons, which was an issue,” Mr Pinney explained.

The club has now been wrecked by protestors, which could have been intentional, but then again, a lot of unreleased businesses are being wrecks in these “protests”.

Maya Santamaria, the owner of the nightclub, was asked whether she believed Chauvin had a problem with black people. She replied: “Yeah, I think he was afraid and intimidated.”

She said both men worked Tuesday nights, and Santamaria worked the doors with Floyd this past year herself. You could argue if they worked there for a long time, and worked the same shifts, they were well acquainted – which is what Floyds family are trying to argue in court. They would like the charge moved up to first degree murder, because they believe “he knew who George Floyd was”.
