Covid-19 second wave has caused the UK to go into lockdown for a month, meaning this lockdown will end on the 2nd of December and then continue from the 28th of December and or if the cases get higher in the UK. This also means that when lockdown ends, the tier system is due to come back.

In the UK, the second wave hit hard and hit the UK like a ton of bricks, with more teenagers and younger adults contacting the virus instead of the older, however, this turned bad when over 10,000 cases started to get reported.

With this happening, more and more chances of people dying of this deadly virus occurred. This means more people died this time round already than the first time in March of 2020. The number of deaths has been a fifth higher than normal.

At the end of the week ending on the 13th of November, almost 14,000 people were recorded dead from the virus. The North West and Yorkshire has seen the most deaths since the beginning of the second wave and lockdown.

The could change in the next few months, however, right now it is showing that the second wave is more deadly than the first wave by a mile and even the infection rate is more deadly than the first time round.
