Coronavirus is still one of the deadliest viruses in our new age, the only virus in recent years to make the UK and other countries go into lockdown because of how deadly it really is. Infects someone and this disease could infect another 1,000 or more. This virus is incredibly infectious and is incredibly dangerous to anyone. Anyone can get this virus and anyone can die to this virus. The doctors and scientists around the world are trying to find out a cure, vaccine, or drug that will help the virus either go and or slow down in the person’s immune system, however they have found something that can help people with this. Anyone admitted to the hospital will be treated with this!
Dexamethasone is the name of the cheap and widely available drug that has been said to save a lot of patients’ lives. This drug is going to be the breakthrough in the fight against the coronavirus! 19 out of 20 patients have been said to of survived the virus when given this drug. Most of them recovered and some may need extra oxygen or stay on the ventilation machine, however, some may not be saved with this drug. People that are on the high-risk chart, can be saved with this drug as well. This drug is already used to reduce inflammation in a range of other conditions and it can help some people’s bodies that are damaged as well.

Covid-19 could be in the past if this drug is extremely effective. Most likely this virus will stay in the world and will stay for people to still get, however, we are getting closer and closer to not seeing this virus as much as we already are.
