Watch out business owners – there’s a new entrepreneur in town, who’s 5 times younger than you, and is doing your job better.
Alfie Bradley has set up his own garden maintenance company during lockdown, after overcoming a speech impediment he’s had from a young age. He’s 6 years old.
Alfreds cutting services has been keeping everyone’s gardens in good shape during lockdown, for a small charge of around £10. But, instead of splashing his fortune on toys, Alfred is doing what even adult businessmen struggle to do sometimes – reinvest in themselves, in order to scale the business further! What a clever dude! If you didn’t already think he was cool enough, he also gives a discount to essential workers like NHS staff.
He’s even got himself a sharp looking green is uniform for his business.

Alfie, from Cornwall, says he “wants to be a millionaire,” whilst his Mum Amy, 34, says: “There’s no stopping him. He’s like a mini Richard Branson.
“He’s always on his feet doing something so lockdown really restricted him from doing things outside of our home.
“Then he figured out a way of keeping moving as well as helping other people.”
Despite somewhat struggling in school, Alfie has clearly learned the value of money and business from a extremely young age, which is great. The business’ services seem to be expanding, too. He’s starting to provide window cleaning services, and plans to add a few more services in the future.
His mum continued: “Alfie was completely non-verbal until he was nearly four, that impacted a lot on his social skills and made him terrified of the outside world.
“This business is just a massive thing for Alfie.
“Academically he’s very behind and has to have personal help from an assistant but it’s never stopped him from being so hands on and determined.”
Hes already established a good reputation for himself, and has a few loyal clients already. His family are rightfully very proud of his efforts, it’s not every day your 6 year old starts a successful business!
Alfie says he wants to buy a garage one day, so his family can work in it, including his uncle and grandad.
He said: “Granddad is 83 and still tinkers with cars. I just want everyone in the world to be happy.”
