The Board of Japanese Car Makers Nissan has ousted chairman Carlos Ghosn over allegations of financial misconduct. Although no charges have been laid the decision was made to minimise disruption. Of course, the fact that Brazilian born Ghosn was an instrumental part of the alliance with Renault and Mitsubishi could have something to do with it. It will be interesting to see how the alliance pans out going forward, especially if no formal charges are brought.
