Joe Biden has released his and his wife’s tax details, showing the ins and outs of their income, and how much tax they got returned last year.

Trump is being urged to be transparent about his taxes.

This tax release comes as The New York Times claims that Donald Trump paid little to no income tax in 10 of the past 15 years.

Biden and his wife Jill were found to have, between them, paid more than $346,000 in taxes and other payments during the last financial year.

Biden also claimed back $47,000 from the government after making just under $1m last year.

Kate Bedingfield, Bidens campaign manager, also released the ins and outs of her taxes voluntary, and said: “This is a historic level of transparency meant to give the American people faith once again that their leaders will look out for them and not their own bottom lines. Mr President, release your tax returns or shut up.”

Trump claims the information that he only paid $750 in tax in 2016/17 is false and illegally obtained. He, as usual took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the situation.

Writing on Twitter, he said: “The Fake News Media, just like Election time 2016, is bringing up my Taxes & all sorts of other nonsense with illegally obtained information & only bad intent.

“I paid many millions of dollars in taxes but was entitled, like everyone else, to depreciation & tax credits.

“Also, if you look at the extraordinary assets owned by me, which the Fake News hasn’t, I am extremely under leveraged – I have very little debt compared to the value of assets. Much of this information is already on file, but I have long said that I may release financial Statements, from the time I announced I was going to run for President, showing all properties, assets and debts.

“It is a very IMPRESSIVE Statement, and also shows that I am the only President on record to give up my yearly $400,000 plus Presidential Salary!

Many high up people in the states are now urging Trump to release his tax return information to the public, just as Biden and those close to him have, as very soon, Trump and Biden will face questioning about their policies before the November poll, and it will heavily affect Trump if he doesn’t give some insight into his taxes after the strong claims made.
